Simplifying Complexity

Even the best financial plan only has value if it can be properly implemented.

As Oliver Wendell Holmes alluded to in his famous quote, there is more than one type of 'simplicity". Too often in the financial planning world, simplicity is defined as a Do-It-Yourself plan that delivers simplicity, but also has a tremendous amount of waste. Market losses, taxes, medical expenses, chronic overspending, emergencies and not preparing for a long enough life can wreak havoc on a the finances (and emotional state) of the DIY retiree.

While most advisors can successfully cut out much of the waste, they also spend the majority of time focused on trying to justify their fees (and unintentionally overwhelm their clients) by presenting 100-page financial plans. Unfortunately, that thick binder that signifies countless hours of hard work remains on their clients' shelf, just collecting dust.

We've taken a different approach; looking beyond 'financial status-quo' to adopt agnostic approaches, applying engineering principals such as durability and versatility. The end result is increased simplicity, efficiency and effectiveness.

By cutting out unnecessary waste, we can make sure that our financial plans are easy to implement, manageable, and will provide our clients REAL VALUE.

" I wouldn't give a fig for simplicity on this side of complexity, but I would give my life for simplicity on the far side of complexity.”
